How Many Days Do You Need for a China Business Trip
Quick answer
Allow at least four to five working days for a first China business trip with supplier meetings. Three working days can work only when you already have a confirmed factory shortlist in one city. Plan seven or more days when the trip includes multiple cities, a trade show, custom product technical review, or formal audits.
Estimate from the business goal
Count the actual working days, not the calendar days. International arrival, departure, jet lag, and internal travel reduce your available meeting time. A common mistake is scheduling three cities in four days and then spending most of the trip in transport.

- One city, full supplier shortlist: 4 to 5 working days
- Two nearby cities: 5 to 6 working days
